[Abstract]:
On 26 December in 2004,a huge undersea earthquake , registering a magnitude of 9, with an epicentre off the west coast of northern Sumatra, triggered a tsunami. This disaster affected countries as far as Oman in the Persian Gulf, Somalia on the east coast of Africa, Mauritius and Reunion, and etc, causing huge casualties and property losses. On 7, January 2005, 99 CEI employees donated 6,980 RMB to the victims of the Indian Ocean tsunami.
