At10:25onNovember22,2013,theEastYellowRiverOilPipelineStorageandTransportationBranchofSinopecPipelineinQingdaoEconomicandTechnologicalDevelopmentZone,ShandongProvince,leakedcrudeoilintothemunicipaldrainageundergroundcanal.Theoilandgasaccumulationintheundergroundcanalformedaclosedspaceexplodedwhensparksoccurred,resultingin62deaths,136injuriesandadirecteconomiclossof75.17millionyuan.。Attheinvitationofthelocalgovernment,theEastChinaHospitalimmediatelydispatchedthreeexpertstothescenetoparticipateintheresearchandanalysisofthecausesoftheaccident,toevaluatethesafetystatusofhazardouschemicalsenterprisesinadjacentports,toidentifypotentialsafetyhazards,andtotaketimelyprotectivemeasurestominimizetheimpactoftheaccidentinordertoprotecttheport.Thesafetyofportfacilitieshasmadepositivecontributions.

At 10:25 on November 22, 2013, the East Yellow River Oil Pipeline Storage and Transportation Branch of Sinopec Pipeline in Qingdao Economic and Technological Development Zone, Shandong Province, leaked crude oil into the municipal drainage underground canal.
