On 12 to 13 December 2011, Ningxia 5Mt/a Oil Refining Revamping and Expansion Project, 5Mt/a Crude Atmospheric Distillation unit, Solvent Regeneration unit and Sour Water Stripping unit, which were designed by CEI, succeeded commissioning successively, and the products coming out met specifications. As the key project of CNPC in the Eleventh Five-year Plan, the Ningxia 5Mt/a Refining Revamping and Expansion Project is the first domestic factory-wholly contracted project. With total investment of 7.2 billion, the newly built units cover 5Mt/a Atmospheric Distillation unit, 2.6Mt/a Catalytic Cracking unit, 600,000t/a Continuous Reforming unit, 150,000t/a Benzene Extraction unit
