As Niger Agadem integrated project, Zinder Refinery is a joint venture established between CNPC International Company and the Republic of Niger with total investment of 5.0billion US dollars, occupying 6 thousand square meters in which the units and facilities take up 800×800 square meters. The annual processing capacity is 1Mt with three-year construction period. As leading design institute of the refinery mainly producing gasoline, diesel, LPG and fuel oil, CEI was responsible for designing 55 of total 65 units. On 30 November 2011, the first Combined Heavy Oil Cracking unit sprayed oil successfully. The 100,000t/a Catalytic Reform unit was put into production in the first trial on 12 January 2012.
